1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Convertible:
As most Mopar fans know the T/A model Challenger was not available as a convertible. This car was a recreation done to the highest degree of authenticity. The vehicle owner bought the car at Barrett Jackson Auction in Scottsdale AZ. The recreation had been done prior to his purchase. The vehicle has a numbers matching real T/A 340 Six Pack with the 4 speed pistol grip drivetrain. The engine and rest of the car was highly detailed and correct right down to the correct concourse hose clamps. The only complaint the customer had with the car was the body was not as straight as it could be and the body line were a bit miss-aligned the car just needed some fine tuning and a repaint with new stripes. Customer left the car off for the winter and went back to Canada until spring. The car was completed in Plum Crazy Purple with the satin black hood treatment and stripes
