1953 Jeep Willys:
This 1953 Jeep Willys 4x4 Wagon has received a complete body off frame restoration in 2014 bringing it back to its original stock condition. Every aspect of the vehicles body, frame, drivetrain, and interior has been meticulously restored. The engine and drivetrain have been completely rebuilt with the addition of locking and unlocking hubs and overdrive transmission. The vehicle has been completely rewired with a new 6 volt reproduction wiring harness. Mechanical repairs completed by John Wojdyla Automotive. Vehicle interior upholstery recreated to look like the original material and patterns completed by Sherman and Joanne Packard of Atlantic Upholstery. This vehicle was purchased new by the current owners grandfather in 1953 for their summer home on the coast of Maine, where it spent its entire life. Now completely restored and road worthy the vehicle is enjoying its first season of driving. The entire family has enjoyed showing it in various cruise nights, parades, and car shows. Completely restored, driven regularly, and enjoyed as it should be.
